Our Business Resources and Information Services include entrepreneurial development, counseling, computer and internet services and a resource library. Community Access Programming (CAP):
is a cooperative venture involving Community Futures, Cranbrook Public Library, Academy of Learning (Cranbrook), and the Kimberley Skills Centre. They will provide public access to computers and the Internet for only one dollar per hour. Access to funding information, training opportunities and business information will easier for the public through this program. Assistance will be available for those who need it.
Regional Access and Community Help (REACH):
This program, available online at Community Futures, helps prospective entrepreneurs access information on grants, training assistance and other demographic and marketing information. It is an on-line subscriber service developed by the provincial government of BC and Western Economic Diversification, a federally funded program.
The CFDC partners with many agencies offering entrepreneurial development which target the needs of CFDC customers. Workshops are offered throughout the region on a frequent basis.
